Created by tracing photographs of the ferrets in ArtRage 2.5, transferring tracing over to photoshop for cleaning up and coloring, and then uploading/vectorizing via Vector Magic.

The kit for this quilt was given to me as a Christmas gift in 2005. I worked on it in bits and pieces over the years, mostly blundering my way through the quilt making process as a learning process. I gave the finished piece to my mother as a Mother’s Day gift in 2008, since it was she who gave me the kit as a gift.

The binding in this picture is horrible, as that was the one thing I couldn’t figure out how to do. Thankfully, another Mother’s Day gift (the Emmeline Apron) taught me how I should have done the binding, so I ripped the bad one and redid it before gifting it.

I’m very good at ripping seams now. :P
